Belleville Band Condemned to Hell

Belleville native, Jeff Tweedy, is apparently condemned to hell. His current band, Wilco, is making people gay. Read all about it here. I listen to mostly his old stuff with Uncle Tupleo, so I think I am safe, however, after going throught the rest of the list, I noticed that they are mostly bands I love (Bjork rocks!!!), so I am not real sure I am actually married to a woman and have kids...

Who Needs Books....

I was perusing the letters to the editor section of our "World Renowned" Belleville News "Republican", and I saw a letter that floored me. You can see it here. Mark (A. I am presuming) Kern said that we should not pay taxes for libraries. That's right, who needs to read. Now this is not the Mark Kern that is the St. Clair County Chairman (if it is, I will personally come over to your house and eat your shoe), but more then likely, the Mark Kern "freak" that runs in political campaigns under the guise of having the same name as someone we would actually elect. Sure Mark, thats the problem we have today - people need to be dumber... If the implication of this letter is that we don't need libraries because we have the Internet, I would invite you to explain how well Newt Gingrich's plan to get the homeless laptops worked out.

McCoy Finally Speaks Some Truth!!

He is, in fact, nothing more then a cheerleader for war. Thanks Glenn, for coming clean.... The next step is to get help.

2 Ohio vote officials guilty of rigging '04 recount

Most people understand that the 2000 election was stolen, but here is more evidence that it was stolen in 2004 as well:

TWO OHIO ELECTION OFFICIALS CONVICTED FOR RIGGING 2004 PRESIDENTIAL RECOUNT!

From the web site:

"By way of reminder, the recount --- the one that was rigged by Ohio Elections Officials --- came by way of the Green and Libertarian Party candidates, not by way of the Democrats or John Kerry. As well, the money to pay for the gamed recount was raised by folks on the Internet, not paid for out of the $15 million or so that Kerry reportedly had left in his campaign war chest after the "Election" in Ohio."

Another reminder that the Dems need more of a backbone....

Bush Makes the Goat - 9/11 Connection

On the morning of 9/11, 2001, George Bush was reading a book about goats to school children in Florida. Little did we know, he would hold the goats and there evil herders accountable for 9/11. Last week, he ordered a military strike in Somalia. The target was about 70 goat herders. From The UK Independant:

"The herdsmen had gathered with their animals around large fires at night to ward off mosquitoes. But lit up by the flames, they became latest victims of America's war on terror. It was their tragedy to be misidentified in a secret operation by special forces attempting to kill three top al-Qa'ida leaders in south-ern Somalia."

The incompetence of this administration in stunning.

Surge?

Glenn McCoy was nice enough to treat us to more political wisdom on the Iraq war in the Belleville News "Republican". So, I guess things were going swell until the Dems took congress then they ruined it for Chimpy... McCoy is clearly delusional. I think it is time for Glenn to enlist in the Army. I think he is still young enough to join - what do you say Glenn??

Press Demonizing Obama - Again

This time it is CNN. It seems that many of the major media outlets are consistently demonizing our own Senator Barack Obama as he considers the possibility of running for President. More detailed analyis of this advance smearing is available at Media Matters.
