Rep. Pelosi has been taking a lot of heat (for no reason) from the right wing nut jobs (along with the pentagon) about her wanting to be able to fly non-stop to California on military aircraft. It was actually Denny Hastert that was the one that got that pushed through after 9/11 for "security". In fact, he used his own military aircraft to fly Rep. Shimkus back to DC for the big page scandal Shimkus did not perform any oversight on. More information on this is available over on Thinkprogress.

Well - somehow Bush managed to get elected. He had far less experience and is stammering moron that can barely speak the English language, so I would say anything is possible at this point.
If Bush can get in, ANYBODY CAN!
Besides, even if it were a mistake to elect Obama, how much worse could it get? I think he has a good chance. Well, he SHOULD, anyway.
